Sun, sea, secret Santa at Chandigarh Club's Christmas bash

New Zealand Chandigarh Club turned up the heat with a sizzling Christmas celebration at Eastern Beach that had members and their families grooving to the festive beats.

The December 16 event saw members and their families gathered for a day of pure, unadulterated fun, laughter, and all-around holiday cheer.

The celebration kicked off with a feast fit for festive kings and queens, setting the stage for a day filled with laughter, joy, and unapologetic merriment.

The highlight of the day was the not-so-secret Secret Santa exchange, where members exchanged gifts that ranged from the heartwarming to the downright hilarious. Laughter echoed along with the waves as the exchange unfolded, proving that even Santa would envy the NZCC's gift-giving game.

Games took centrestage, with musical chairs turning into a competitive battleground for members of all ages. The club's Christmas celebration wasn't just about camaraderie; it showcased untapped musical chair talents and unexpected victories.

New Zealand Chandigarh Club, breaking the mould of traditional gatherings, continues redefining community celebrations. Reflecting on the bash, Jagjit Singh, honorary consulate of Georgia in New Zealand, said, "It was an awesome... lovely celebration. I am impressed by how well it was organized… had so much fun." It was clear that the NZCC had once again raised the bar for festive fun.

Another attendee, PJ Dhatt, maintained that the celebration was a wave of joy, laughter, and unexpected delights.

President Reeta Arora conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to governing body members and all members for their active participation and enthusiasm, underscoring their role in making the event a resounding success.

She extended warm thanks to everyone who contributed to the festive atmosphere and emphasised the importance of such gatherings in strengthening the club's sense of community.
