NZICA Youth Conference set to ignite minds and foster connections

In a move aimed at fostering community engagement and empowering the youth, the New Zealand Indian Central Association Inc. (NZICA) has proudly announced its much-anticipated Youth Conference.

The event scheduled to take place on November 25 at the Mahatma Gandhi Centre will feature an impressive lineup of high-profile speakers, each celebrated for their impactful contributions in their respective fields.

Among the distinguished guests are mental health advocate Jazz Thornton, TEDx speaker, stock market columnist and founder of financial podcast Girls That Invest, Simran Kaur and Arrun Soma, a recognised leader in youth development.

Sharing her excitement about the event, Simran said, "I will be sharing insights on the exciting world of investment and financial well-being. We will explore the diverse investment options available, learn about the psychological aspects of investing, and how to overcome the common South Asian mindset of "Only save all your money". I will also share my experience as a female POC founder. This event is crucial for empowering our youth to take control of their financial futures and get started on building their investment portfolios with confidence."

Talking about the event, Narendra Bhana, President, New Zealand Indian Central Association Inc., told The Indian Weekender, “The conference is a dynamic platform for empowerment, learning, and networking. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to interact with the esteemed speakers, participate in engaging workshops, and connect with like-minded peers. NZICA is steadfast in its commitment to providing a space where innovative ideas can thrive, and the leaders of tomorrow can be nurtured.”

The event has already garnered quite an attention.
