Aucklanders had a gala time dancing to South Indian music with celebrity DJ Black, aka Sudhan Kumar, trending DJ across South India, enthralling the audience on April 1, 2023.
About 560 people attended the event at Everybody's in Auckland CBD. DJ Black entered the venue accompanied by live ‘Chenda Melam’, a percussion instrument widely played across Kerala, performed by the Kerala Group Rhythm 345.
Guests who turned up in sync with the dress code, Red Carpet Royale, were seen having a gala time at the 360-degree video booth.
One of the attendees, V Nithya, said, "I thoroughly enjoyed being at the event, and the music by DJ Black was amazing. The whole South Indian vibe was awesome."

Tracks were handpicked from Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies, albums and remixed music.
