The last two years have been very challenging for everyone due to the Covid-19 pandemic, especially for those working and lost their jobs or had their employer's businesses shutting down.
To help people with their career development goals, a workshop is being organised by the Migrant Careers Support Trust - a non-profit charitable trust that aims to achieve social equity, inclusion and social cohesion by better economic integration of the migrant workers and people from the ethnic communities, in the New Zealand society - on May 21, 2022 (Saturday).
The free event will take place from 9 am to 2 pm at Hinengaro Room, Te Manawa Library, Westgate, Auckland.
Those who are interested in attending can register by filling out a form at https://form.123formbuilder.com/6151906/form
The event will give an opportunity to meet industry experts and gather valuable knowledge from their experiences. Those who register can discuss job hunting on Linkedin, networking, personal branding, and making partnerships at work.
"This event aims to help everyone, including those who are new to the workforce in NZ and those looking to learn more career skills to help them grow in their profession. Because of Covid-19, many people, including women, lost their jobs and now want to get back as things are getting better. This workshop is our way of helping them," says Gaurav Gupta, founder and chairperson of Migrant Careers Support Trust.
