Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was allegedly stabbed by an intruder who broke into his Mumbai residence in the early hours of Thursday. The incident occurred around 2:30 am while the actor was at home with his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their sons, Taimur and Jeh.
The intruder reportedly sneaked into the house while the family was asleep. A scuffle ensued between Saif Ali Khan and the assailant, during which the actor was allegedly stabbed multiple times. The attacker fled the scene before he could be apprehended.
Saif Ali Khan is currently receiving treatment at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. His condition remains undisclosed.
The Bandra Police have lodged an FIR against the unknown assailant and have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are working to identify and apprehend the suspect.
The Khan family had recently returned to Mumbai after celebrating New Year’s in Switzerland.
