The Parnell Festival of Roses is back to paint Auckland in the vibrant hues of roses and the spirit of community once again!
This year's festival, happening on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 11am to 4pm at the stunning Dove-Myer Robinson Park (Parnell Rose Gardens), is free and packed with a dynamic lineup of activities, workshops, and performances to engage visitors of all ages.
Hosted by the Waitemata Local Board, this cherished event has been uniting Aucklanders for over 30 years, and 2024 is no exception! Festival-goers can explore food trucks, craft stalls, a farmer’s market, and free activities for the whole whānau.
Features this year include the popular Cutting and Seed Swap—bring your plants and exchange them with fellow plant lovers—and the Upcycle Garden Challenge, showcasing creative, eco-friendly garden designs from local schools.
To further foster a relaxing, inclusive experience, the festival introduces a Quiet Room, curated by Spectroom, for visitors who want a peaceful escape from the day’s buzz.
