Indian Man Sets Record For Fastest Nose Typing

Chaudhary first claimed the title in 2023 with an impressive time of 27.80 seconds.

Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, a 44-year-old Indian man, has once again surpassed his own record to claim the title of the 'fastest time to type the alphabet with the nose,' according to the Guinness World Records (GWR). Chaudhary, who has entered this unique category three times, has consistently outdone himself with each attempt.

New call-to-action

Chaudhary first claimed the title in 2023 with an impressive time of 27.80 seconds. In a subsequent attempt later that year, he improved his record to 26.73 seconds. His latest feat, however, saw him completing the challenge in just 25.66 seconds, setting a new benchmark.

GWR shared a video on social media platform X, showcasing Chaudhary's remarkable achievement. The clip features him meticulously typing the English alphabet using his nose. "How quickly could you type the alphabet with your nose (with spaces)?" read the caption of the post.

To secure this record, Chaudhary had to type the Roman alphabet on a standard QWERTY keyboard, ensuring a space between each letter. This extraordinary feat not only underscores his skill but also his dedication to his craft.

In an interview with GWR, Chaudhary, who is fondly known as the "Typing Man of India," shared insights into his passion. Beyond his nose-typing record, he holds titles for the fastest time to type the alphabet backwards with a single hand (5.36 seconds) and the fastest time to type the alphabet with hands behind the back (6.78 seconds).

"My profession has been typing, so I decided to make a record in it, combining my passion and livelihood," Chaudhary explained. "I believe that no matter how many challenges you face in life, you must hold on to your passion until the end."

Chaudhary revealed that achieving his record-breaking times required hours of practice. Typing with his nose often left him dizzy, but he remained undeterred, insisting that with enough practice, anything is possible. He credited his success to daily meditation and maintaining a positive mindset.

Inspired by the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who holds numerous records including the most player-of-the-match awards in international cricket (62) and the most centuries (100), Chaudhary aspires to break as many records as possible in his own field.

Chaudhary's journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and passion, proving that with determination and hard work, one can achieve extraordinary feats.
