There are reports five people have been injured in a bus crash in Wainuiomata, east of Hutt Valley.
Police said at about 11.45am they were told of a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Coast Road and Hine Road.
Five people people were reported to have moderate injuries, police said.

It appeared a bus hit a power pole.
A person in the area said she heard a loud bang from several blocks away and the power in her house flickered.
She said she and other locals have told her their power is out, and that they can hear lots of sirens.
