A car smashed through the shopfront of Hikoco Beauty Store in Newmarket overnight, leaving a trail of debris in its wake. The driver fled on foot and remains at large.
Photos from the scene show the vehicle lodged in the centre of the store on Broadway, surrounded by shattered glass and scattered merchandise.
Police were alerted to the crash at 2am. A spokesperson confirmed that the vehicle lost control before ploughing into the storefront. The male driver reportedly fled on foot and has not yet been located.
No injuries have been reported, and police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
