Auckland, 3rd October 2024 – The festive spirit filled the air as the Bengali community in Auckland prepared for their biggest celebration of the year: Durga Puja! Hosted by Dishari NZ, this vibrant celebration took place at the Blockhouse Bay Community Centre on October 5th and 6th, from 10 am to 10 pm, inviting everyone to partake in the festivities with free entry, food, and participation.

Since its establishment just last year, Dishari NZ quickly became a cornerstone of the Bengali community in Auckland. With a focus on cultural innovation and excellent organizational practices, they set a benchmark for community engagement.
