Sanjay Leela Bhansali has made his much-awaited debut in the world of OTT platforms with the period drama web series "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar". The series, known for its impressive star cast, has garnered praise for the actors' outstanding performances, sparking curiosity among fans about their remuneration.

The star-studded cast of "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar" includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta, Fardeen Khan, and others in pivotal roles.

Sonakshi Sinha, who plays a dual role in the series, reportedly received a whopping Rs 2 crore for her performance, making her one of the highest-paid actresses in the series, Pinkvilla reported.

Manisha Koirala, portraying the role of Mallika Jaan, the chief courtesan, earned a paycheck of Rs 1 crore, according to Filmibeat.

Aditi Rao Hydari, praised for her portrayal of Bibbo Jaan, earned between Rs 1 to 1.5 crores for her role.

Despite her small role, Richa Chadha made a lasting impact as Lajjo and was paid Rs 1 crore for her contribution.

Sanjeeda Sheikh, known for her television work, portrayed Waheeda and earned Rs 40 lakh for her role.

Fardeen Khan, marking his comeback to showbiz, impressed audiences as Wali Saab and received Rs 75 lakh for his role.

Sharmin Sehgal, playing Alamzeb, earned over Rs 30 lakh for her role.

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali reportedly charged around Rs 60-70 crore for helming the series, which had a budget of approximately Rs 200 crores.

The series also features Taha Shah Badussha, Farida Jalal, Shekhar Suman, Shruti Sharma, and Adhyayan Suman in other roles.
